There is definitely more to Iceland than Bjork, Sigur Ros and the thriving music scene. This small island has amazing landscape and architecture, as well as an active volcano. Some film students from Stuttgart, Germany were lucky enough to raise enough sponsorship money to visit there and shoot footage for their student film. The end result is breathtaking and a great stress reducer!

A public piano was recently installed in a park, somewhere in Sarasota, Florida. What happened next was fantastic, as a homeless man proceeded to play all of the classical parts to Styx / “Come Sail Away”
It’s pretty inspiring to see over 1,000 musicians get together to serenade their favorite rock band. The people of Cesena, Italy did just that, when they performed “Learning To Fly”, in their plea to get the band to perform for them in their hometown. We all know how cool Dave Grohl can be and the band announced recently that they will, indeed, perform for them in their own town. Mission Accomplished!
It’s bad enough being in a tornado. It’s quite another scenario being near a tornado for over 3 hours. This tornado touched down in somewhere in the province of Manitoba, Canada. Luckily no one was injured or died. Intense!

Akihiro Mizuuchi just made this planet a happier place. Over the years, The biggest complaint parents have had, is that Legos have been a very male-themed toy. They’ve also been known to have to reprimand their kids for eating them, or even taken them to the emergency room to have them extracted from an orifice or two.
More recently, Lego has been creating playsets for both genders, including a lot of new girl themed sets, but leave it to this illustrator to take the Lego concept to the next level. Even one that mom will love!
